Using your SMART board in your classroom can have multiple benefits to you and your students. SMART boards are fun and engaging for students and make your job as a teacher a little bit easier. And who doesn't want that?
WAYS YOU CAN USE THE SMART BOARD IN YOUR CLASSROOM:
- As a projector for movies and powerpoint presenations
- Interactive games for almost ANY subject
- In some ways, your SMART board takes place of the overhead projector and your whiteboard. (You can build your own templates for various subjects- and trust me, there are templates for ANYTHING you can think of)
- If you would like, your SMART board can be used like a computer monitor. Showing the whole class any research or photographs, video clips and illustrations that you find on the internet or have brought from home on a flash drive.
SMART board resources are abundant on the web. There are tutorials, applications you can download, premade interactive powerpoints; the list just goes on!
